During a live shift, attention is limited and workflows are time-critical. What started as a police MDT quickly expanded across Police, Government, and EMS into 24 distinct modules. The challenge was to design a unified system with granular permissions and adaptive navigation that keeps 24 workflows effortless without overwhelming the user.

The dashboard is designed as the starting point of a shift. Instead of filling the screen with arbitrary widgets, the hierarchy answers three essential questions in order: Who am I and what is my status? Where do I need to go? And what is happening right now across units and wanted registries?
In Dispatch, location is the primary piece of information. The live GPS tactical map takes the majority of the screen, while incoming callouts stay in a focused triage column with immediate 10-code incident assignment.
Core personal identity remains anchored while the officer or dispatcher navigates criminal records, licenses, emergency ICE medical information, property holdings, and registered vehicles without losing context.
The document editor is treated like a digital sheet of paper with rich typography. Case links, involved officers, citizens, and evidence stay accessible in a side panel without competing with the writing area.
The interface begins with an immediate visual summary for supervisors, while detailed duty hours, citation counts, and monthly breakdown stay organized in structured rows below.
A master-detail calendar keeps the full monthly view visible while day-specific hearings, court depositions, and operational shifts open alongside it, preventing loss of context.
Built on Vue 3.5 with Pinia modular stores and strict TypeScript typechecking. CI/CD build scripts automatically verify granular action permissions and ensure no mock data leaks into production.
